Assalaamu alaykum wa ragmatullaahi wa barakaatu wa magfiratu

May the Peace Mercy and Blessings of اللَّهِ be upon you.

During the space of Fajr and dhur as we await the call to the Jumu’ah prayer I thought I would share this:

“When we are born adhaan is given but no salat.

When we die salat is prayed but no adhaan.

The adhaan at given at the time of our birth is the adhaan given for the salat prayed at the time of our death.

That is how short life is, the time between adhaan and salat.”

– Ahmad Alameen

May we use this day for reflection and ibaadat; and may all our duahs be answered InshaAllah. Ameen.
